Nexgram Melaka Lifecare Specialist 24.78 Acres Purchase for Mix Development With Estimated RM1.6 Billion Gross Development Value (GDV) [1 April 2021] Press Release

1 April 2021, Melaka, Malaysia : Nexgram Biomedic Sdn Bhd, an indirect subsidiary of Nexgram Holdings Berhad (“Nexgram”), a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, today have digitally signed an understanding with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Melaka (PKNM) at its  50th anniversary celebration in relation to the proposed sale and purchase of a piece of land situated in PT 8839 Mukim Bukit Baru, District of Melaka Tengah, State of Melaka measuring an area of approximately 24.78 acres (“Said Land”). The proposed acquisition of the Said Land is proposed to be developed as Melaka Lifecare Specialist Project which the proposed gross development value estimated at RM1.6 billion

The event is witnessed by Melaka Chief Minister YAB Datuk Seri Utama (Dr) Haji Sulaiman Md Ali. The proposed acquisition of the land will be dedicated for mix development comprising hospital building, service SOHO (annexed to the Hospital), Wellness Centre & Bioscience Research Centre, Retirement & Medical Tourism (annexed to the Wellness Centre), MM2H Program (annexed to the Wellness Centre), 3 Star Hotel & Condotel, and Commercial and Recreation Park.

This public private cooperation initiative is in line with the government push for technology-based investments which can in turn raise the knowledge and digital economic capability and capacity level of Malaysians. Melaka is well poised for this with its excellent economy and social growth dynamics. 

This super specialty medical complex is expected to serve the Healthcare needs of the wider Asian region. 

The mix development is expected to contribute positively to state of Melaka economic GDP, employment and social welfare and prosperity within the next 5 to 10 years.
